Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the TranslateAnyPDF website, services, or applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or entity ("Organization"), then you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that Organization, and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind the Organization to these Terms.

TranslateAnyPDF provides an AI-powered document translation service primarily focused on translating PDF files while attempting to preserve the original document layout. The Service includes document upload, AI-based translation, and download of the translated document.

• The Service works best with text-based PDF documents.
• Layout preservation is a primary goal but is not guaranteed and may vary based on document complexity.
• The Service does not currently perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR); uploaded PDFs must have selectable text.
• Translations are generated by AI and may not be suitable for all purposes without review.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all content you upload and translate ("Your Content"). You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or transmit any material that you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted material, or material that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to distribute unsolicited commercial email ("spam") or malicious software.

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are required to translate documents and are deducted based on factors such as page count and document complexity. The estimated credit cost will be displayed before you confirm a translation job.

Credit Types: We may offer subscription plans that include a monthly allotment of credits ("Subscription Credits") and/or one-time purchases of credits ("Top-Up Credits").

• Subscription Credits typically renew monthly and may expire if unused at the end of the subscription period, as specified in your plan.
• Top-Up Credits are generally valid for a specified period from the date of purchase (e.g., 12 months) and do not automatically renew.

Refunds: Unused Top-Up Credits may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, at our discretion. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information or contact support for refund inquiries.

All payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card information.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and Your Content. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your documents, including encryption during transit and at rest. Uploaded documents are typically deleted from our active servers within 24-48 hours after the translation job is completed or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to your original documents and the translated documents produced by the Service. We do not claim any ownership over Your Content.

Our Service: The Service, including its website, software, trademarks, logos, and all underlying technology and intellectual property, is and will remain the exclusive property of TranslateAnyPDF and its licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

We strive to provide a reliable and high-quality Service. However, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• AI translations may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of translations for your intended use.
• Layout preservation efforts may not be perfect for all documents, especially those with highly complex or non-standard formatting.

We may perform scheduled maintenance or emergency updates that could temporarily affect service availability. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where feasible.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TranslateAnyPDF, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any content obtained from the Service, including reliance on the accuracy of translations or layout preservation.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall TranslateAnyPDF's aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amounts paid by you to TranslateAnyPDF for the use of the Service in the past six months.

You may stop using the Service and terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, for example by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
