We want you to be completely satisfied with TranslateAnyPDF. This policy explains when and how refunds are available.

1. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under specific circumstances to ensure fair treatment for both our customers and our business. Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase and timing of the request.

Full Refund Available

If you haven't used any credits from your purchase and request within our refund window.

2. Credit Purchases (Top-Ups)

Credit top-ups are eligible for a full refund under the following conditions:

  • 14-day window: You must request the refund within 14 days of purchase
  • Unused credits: None of the purchased credits have been used for translations
  • Account in good standing: Your account must not have any violations or abuse

Partial Use Policy

If you've used some but not all of your purchased credits, refunds will be calculated proportionally based on remaining unused credits.

3. Subscription Refunds

Subscription refunds follow a different policy due to the recurring nature of the service:

  • Current billing period: Prorated refunds may be available for the current billing period if requested within 7 days of initial subscription or renewal
  • Unused months (Annual plans): For annual subscriptions, unused full months may be eligible for refund
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but past charges are generally non-refundable

Subscription credits that have been used for translations are not eligible for refund, even if the subscription is cancelled.

4. Refund Timeframes

Credit Top-Ups

14 days from purchase date

Subscriptions

7 days from billing date

Refund requests submitted after these timeframes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be denied.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your account email and order/transaction ID
  3. Specify the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any relevant details about your experience

Quick Response

We typically respond to refund requests within 24-48 hours during business days.

6. Processing and Timeline

Once your refund is approved:

  • FastSpring payments: 3-5 business days to appear on your statement
  • Credit card refunds: May take 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • PayPal refunds: Usually processed within 24-48 hours

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot process refunds to different payment methods or accounts.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Credits that have been used for completed translations
  • Subscription fees for periods where the service was actively used
  • Refund requests made after the specified timeframes
  • Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service
  • Digital products or services already delivered and used
8. Service Issues and Disputes

If you experienced technical issues or are unsatisfied with translation quality:

  • Contact support first to resolve the issue - we often can provide credit compensation
  • Document any technical problems with screenshots if possible
  • We may offer service credits as an alternative to monetary refunds
  • Persistent technical issues may qualify for exception refunds
9. Chargeback Policy

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us directly. Chargebacks can result in additional fees and may lead to account suspension.
